Anyone think this overpriced piece of shit will come far short of living up to it's hype?

It won't become another blackberry in the corporate world, but will surely go over fairly well with the kids\teens-but most of them don't have the kind of coin to drop on a $5-600 phone & $69-100 monthly bill, after the $39 activation fee.

I wouldn't be riding it out another day if I had loaded up on them based on this phone\gadget.

I think AT&T's network isn't strong enough, yet, to support the type of internet connection that people will want if they are paying 500 bucks for this all in one device.



I may end up getting one Friday night just because I'm a gadget guy.



It really does look impressive but I can't stand slow internet. I think AT&T is in the process of upgrading their network.

This thing is going to be the next Ipod. Its an amazing device, I personally think its worth it. If I didnt have shitty Verizon who hasnt made a good phone in years I would be in line.

I'm a gadget guy also, but I can wait unitl I get home or to work to look at my e-mail, watch you tubes etc. etc.

I don't know about anybody else, but all I want my cell phone to do is make and receive calls.

Agree with you in the sense that buying an Iphone at this time may not be as good a investment as buying AAPL shares.
